Assistant Plant Manager

Conduct training of new employees, hire recruits and assist in conflict resolution as necessary.

Direct Production, processing, and distribution of product while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Evaluate job orders.

Identify products and materials required to complete job orders.

Set up machines to begin production cycle – calibrate, clean, etc.

Feed raw materials and parts into machine.

Routinely run production tests of the machinery as needed to ensure good operating condition.

Operate machine at full capacity – control settings (e.g. speed).

Perform regular machine maintenance, troubleshoot and address any problems with production equipment and machinery.

Must have basic knowledge of and ability to use power tools in construction of house components (gables etc.).

Ensures that all production deadlines are met.
