Tom Poelker and his construction companies have been building "green" for more than 30 years and have received awards in New York and Florida for green building techniques, as well as nationally recognized energy saving ratings.

In addition to his role as a board and executive committee member of the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development, Tom serves his community as vice-chairman of the Town of Windham planning board and as a member of the Greene County Planning board, and is a founding member and past chairman of the Community of Windham Foundation, a charitable not-for-profit organization promoting culture and the arts, historical preservation, and recreational opportunities for the area in which he lives.
